Lisa Andreae – President

Lisa directly drives and oversees The Incubator’s development and production slate, ensuring that all creative and fiscal targets are met and that all shows deliver to their highest potential. She also acts as an executive producer on all shows including currently, Through the Wormhole, Season Two.
Lisa started her career at London-based Indie, Optomen Television, working as a production manager, assistant producer, then producer on many of its hit shows including Police Camera Action, Two Fat Ladies and Jamie Oliver’s The Naked Chef, Geisha, Tomb of Christ, and Gore Vidal’s American Presidency. She was appointed Head of Production in 1997 where she helped grow the company into a leading supplier of non-fiction shows on both sides of the Atlantic, with clients including the BBC, Channel Four, Discovery, TLC, A&E and HBO. She also oversaw the growth of its distribution arm, supervising sales to more than forty territories.

After a career break to raise four children, Lisa officially became Co-President of The Incubator in 2007, helping to take it independent and drive its expansion and development. In 2010, Simon accepted a newly created role to run Discovery’s West Coast Production and Development, and Lisa became sole President. Lisa has been married to Simon since 1996 and is the proud mother of four boys: Jacob, Jonah, Moby and Fitz. The family has lived in Pacific Palisades, California, since moving to the US in 2005.
